Cuckoo

Irregular Cuckoo feathering with light and dark, but short of positive black and white. Each feather dark-tipped. The plumage should be free from red, brown or yellow tinges. Male lighter than the female.

Silver Crele

Refer to Golden Crele. Gold, Bay, Lemon, Yellow, Orange or Red to be replaced by silvery white.

Golden Crele

Plumage of the Cock - Neck-hackle and Saddle barred orange. Back and Shoulders barred deep orange on pale straw. Breast and Thighs barred grey and white. Wing-bow barred deep orange, with a dark grey bar across; secondaries bay on the outer web; primaries dark grey and white barred. Tail dark grey.

Plumage of the Hen - Hackle lemon barred with grey. Back, wings and body barred unclearly grey. Some tinges of bay and yellow may be seen in neck and breast. Tail to correspond with body colour.

Red

Plumage, brilliant, glossy red.

Neck: Rich, brilliant red of a medium shade to match body, lower hackle feathers to have a black stripe down the centre at the lower part.

Wings: Red to match the body. Primaries, inner webs black, outer webs red to match body. Secondaries, inner webs black or dark slate, outer webs red.

Tail: Main-tail feathers, green black; sickle feathers, rich, lustrous greenish black; coverts, mainly greenish black, red as they approach the saddle.

Plumage: General surface, rich, brilliant red, except where black is specified; free from shafting or mealy appearance; the less contrast there is between wing-bows, back, hackle, and breast the better. A harmonious blending in all sections is desired. The specimen should be so brilliant in color as to have a glossed appearance.
